Adobe has announced that old Reader Extensions certificates based on "Adobe Root CA" will no longer work as of January 7, 2023. This means that as of January 7, 2023, no more PDF forms can be extended with this certificate via the Reader Extensions Service. Forms that have already been extended are not affected and will continue to work.
Adobe Reader Extensions Certificate expired
Our PDF forms no longer work as they should. What now?
Old Reader Extensions certificates no longer work
To continue to extend forms using the Reader Extensions Service, you need a new certificate based on the Adobe Root CA G2. This Reader Extensions certificate is part of the AEM Forms license and can be downloaded from the License Portal (LWS).
Important: Only the company's primary LWS account has access to the current certificate.
Immediate action is recommended, otherwise functionalities such as dynamic barcodes, attachment uploads or web services may no longer work.
